Cool! A weblog! This is an easy way for me to update my Comments daily (add a little more stuff? bore you with even more mundane nonsense?) and for you to respond to comments or tag or just stare in bewilderment at the junk I just wrote and wonder why anyone would bother putting up such drivel...or...maybe post a favorite poem, or what the weather is like where you are, or just send me an emoticon tag. You're out there, I know you are, and I'm glad you've stopped in. :)
p.s. here, what you see is not just what you get - there are archived pages when this page gets full

So in my various wanderings through cyberspace I came across an article about a lady named Olive Riley who is considered to be the oldest known blogger. She just turned 108, and also has clips of memories posted on YouTube. I find that interesting because I subscribe to another older gentleman's YouTube memories (though by her standards he's a spring chicken) and who was part of the British singing group of older people singing such hits as "When I'm 64".
Anyway, aside from the fun stuff to do with Olive's 108th birthday party, I read back a bit and came across a post by the fellow who helps her with her blog. His name is Mike, and back in the late 80's he worked on a series of films of Tommy Tricker with Rock Demers. They did a series of auditions here in Canada and he now would love to do a DVD of the audition footage for some of the people who auditioned back then. The problem is these kids are now in their late 20's, and he hasn't got the names, just the stills and footage. He is asking that if people recognize themselves to please contact him. The post on the blog regarding this (and this photos, and no, I didn't recognize anyone in the photos) is "about acting" here's the link http://www.allaboutolive.com.au/2007/10/02/all-about-improv/ please go read the blog, it's a good one.
And now for a rainy Saturday afternoon nap.
